EDITORIAL ENDOGAMY POLICIES

General Principles

Genius-Pro Science and Society (e-ISSN: 3103-1358) maintains an editorial inbreeding prevention policy aimed at ensuring academic independence, impartial editorial decision-making, institutional diversity, scientific plurality, and the credibility of the publication process.

The journal adopts international best practices promoted by the Committee on Publication Ethics, the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing, as well as the editorial quality criteria used by international scientific indexing systems such as SciELO, Scopus, Directory of Open Access Journals, Redalyc, and Latindex.

Editorial inbreeding is understood as the excessive concentration of publications originating from individuals directly or indirectly linked to the journal’s editorial structure or to the institution responsible for its publication, in a manner that may compromise editorial independence, academic diversity, or the perception of fairness in the scientific evaluation process.
